NW Velo Sales, one of the oldest and most recognized sales agencies supporting the Bike, Moto and Run industries in the Pacific Northwest, is currently looking for a sales associate to take over the established territory of Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.  NW Velo Sales currently works with brands such as Troy Lee Designs, Devinci Cycles, Tifosi Optics and ProBar Nutrition.  We are looking for someone to join our team who is self-motivated with a charismatic personality. Given this is somewhat of a seasonal Spring to Fall job, ideal candidates may already be working with established accounts as a sales representative in the snow sports industry who are looking for year-round income. Responsibilities:

 

·         Manage time and schedule for travel which may result in several nights in a row away from home.

·         Travel through territory a minimum of 4 to 8 times a year depending on seasonality.

·         Create orders based on product knowledge that best fits the customer needs.

·         Build territory through emerging opportunities and the addition of new retailers.

·         Provide best product knowledge and sales technics through scheduled retailer staff clinics.

·         Conduct consumer product demonstrations through regional events and retailer specific opportunities.

 

Qualifications:

 

·         Must live within the states of Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.

·         Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the field as an outside sales representative.  May not be directly related to the Bike, Moto and Run industries but would be a benefit.

·         Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

·         Strong understanding of CRM software.

·         Ability to host and conduct virtual meetings through applications such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and GoToMeeting.

·         Must own a personal PC based laptop.

·         This is a full-time job so candidates must be able to work 40+ hours a week.

·         Strong communication skills and the ability to offer quick solutions to sometimes difficult situations.

·         Passion for all things surrounding cycling, motocross and/or running.

·         Love of travel and the outdoors.
