Join our team in Laramie, Wyoming, where the mountain and gravel biking scene is booming! We’re on the hunt for a skilled and passionate professional bike mechanic to keep riders rolling through the summer season. From rugged mountain trails to scenic gravel routes, Laramie is becoming a must-visit destination for cyclists—and we need someone who can match that energy. If you have the expertise to fine-tune bikes, a knack for problem-solving, and a love for the biking community, this is your chance to work in an exciting, fast-paced environment while surrounded by breathtaking outdoor adventure.
**Location:** Laramie, Wyoming – an exciting up-and-coming destination for mountain and gravel biking!
**Position:** Pro Bicycle Mechanic
**Season:** June - September (we will work with applicant on the season dates)
**Pay: Starting at $30/hr for qualified applicants
We're looking for a skilled and passionate bicycle mechanic to join our team for the summer season and potentially could turn into a full time gig. As Laramie transforms into a bustling hub for mountain and gravel biking enthusiasts, we need someone who can keep our riders on the trails and at their best.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform high-quality repairs and maintenance on various types of bikes, with a focus on mountain and gravel bikes.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our biking community.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest biking trends and technologies.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering parts as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a bike mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of road, mountain and gravel bike mechanics.
Comfortable working with Sram AXS, Shimano E-tube/Di2, various ebikes, all hydraulic brake manufacturers
Comfortable with fork and rear suspension maintenance/overhauls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
