Reports To: Senior Digital Marketing Manager
Classification: Professional, full-time
Location: Boulder, Colorado (Denver Metro area residents or those willing to relocate only)
FLSA Code: Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000 DOE plus potential bonuses and a generous benefits package

Job Summary:
The Social Media Coordinator’s (SMC) role is to maintain the brand’s voice by sharing and posting content on
La Sportiva’s social media accounts and blog. The SMC is responsible for regularly posting and distributing
content as well as implementing marketing strategies and campaigns through social media channels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
? Maintains & curates brand social media channels including, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube,
LinkedIn and others with input and collaboration from Senior Digital Marketing Manager
? Clear writing skills and the ability to communicate to multiple audiences/channels
? Collaborate with Marketing team to produce compelling campaigns
? Organize content calendar and distribute content plan to all relevant stakeholders
? Coordinates creative assets for social media use with Graphic Designer and Content Creator
? Collaborates with the Sports Marketing team to share/post content from and about our athletes and
marketing events.
? Design, draft and execute social campaigns/postings
? Coordinate with Italian Social and Content teams to share social post assets, content and campaigns
? Report on social media metrics, engagement and KPIs monthly, quarterly and annually
? Maintain knowledge of social media trends and best practices
? Other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities:
? Communication: active listening, diplomacy, tact, verbal, written
? Copy writing & editing experience
? Emotional intelligence: self-awareness, self-management, empathy, relationship management
? Organized and detail-oriented
? Prioritization: ability to meet deadlines and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
? Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite

? Social media: knowledge of social media platforms, content strategies, & metrics reporting
? Knowledge of and experience with Climbing, Mountaineering and Running footwear, apparel, and/or
ski hardgoods products.
Education and Experience:
? 4-Year Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Communications or Journalism preferred
? 2+ years of experience Coordinating Social media posting and campaigns preferred
? Experience with content editorial calendars and planning
? Experience creating content posts for various social media channels
Work Environment:
? 37+ hour standard work week requirement
? Travel up to 5% of the time as needed for Marketing events where social media posting is required
? Office environment with appropriate workspace and equipment needed for position are provided
? Occasional long periods of sitting, walking, and standing
? Position requires regular interaction with a variety of constituents, including team members and
vendors
? Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs., as well as be able to bend and walk without issues

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a schedule of Monday through Thursday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and Friday
