POSITION & QUALIFICATION OVERVIEW
This position is designed to support our Event Producer and team of Race Directors for various sporting events throughout Southern California. We are seeking someone that is a clear communicator, extremely organized and an excellent multitasker. This job requires manual labor and desk work. Furthermore, a person that has a passion for sporting events and a desire to have a career in this industry is preferred.
A minimum of two years experience in event planning or logistical organization/coordination experience required.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Attend specific key meetings with Executive Producer (EP)
Work under the direction of Executive Producer and assist with:
Submitting and following up with specific event permits
Scheduling sales & planning meetings with sponsors, vendors and key partners
Securing third party vendors (in conjunction with Race Director)
Secure and schedule staff, manage communications before and after event, submit payroll for staff
Managing EPs calendar and influx of emails
Support Operations Team
Manage warehouse by organizing equipment and keeping inventory up to date
Event Weekend Prep, Set Up and Delivery of Event
Assist Marketing Team
Ensure marketing team meets calendar deadlines in regards to production
QUALIFICATIONS
4 year college degree preferred
2 years or more of event planning or logistical organization experience required
Must be comfortable with desk work and manual labor
Software Skills (familiarity and/or willingness to learn)
Google Suite Inventory
Asana
Dropbox / Box.com / Etc.
Slack
Adobe Suite (Photoshop / Illustrator)
Site Planning Software (Vectorworks, Sketch Up, CAD)
Must be available to work most if not all of the following weekends:
June 11: LA Pride Festival
June 24 - 25: Santa Monica Pier 360
August 27: XTERRA Laguna Beach Triathlon
Sep. 30 - Oct. 1: Malibu Triathlon
October 28: Los Muertos 5k
Nov. 24 / Thanksgiving Morning: Turkey Trot LA
