Job Description & Requirements
Julbo is a 135+ year old, independent and family owned business eyewear brand covering everything from sunglasses to snow goggles. The Territory Manager is the face of Julbo Eyewear while meeting with current and prospective retailers. This is a full-time, outside sales position to support the brand by daily travel and retailer meetings in the region. This role will focus on growing and expanding our business in the Northeast in the sport, lifestyle and optical channels. The Territory Manager will work closely with our US headquarters in Burlington, Vermont on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote Julbo Eyewear and products throughout territory
- Develop business relationships with existing and new dealers
- Expand current position in the market through our current channels and targets
- Identify, qualify and execute new distribution opportunities
- Maximize company’s sales process and sales cycles to achieve territory budget and deadlines
- Report all sales process activities in the Company’s ERP to build accurate sales pipeline and optimize sales cycle (weekly)
- Provide territory forecasts for product styles and sales $ (quarterly)
- Maintain and update account contacts, new business opportunities and sales activities in the ERP (weekly)
- Provide sales and technical support to dealers
- Provide trade marketing support to dealers, by presenting any marketing tools effectively
- Attend regional trade and consumer events to promote the brand
- Stay current with competitor landscape, products and trends
- Share regular feedback with management
- Liaise between dealers, warranty, credit and customer service departments
- Attending weekend events as required (trunk shows, dealer events, industry events)
Job Requirements
- 2+ years in a Sales
- Clean Driving Record (Background Check Required)
- Superior sales knowledge and commitment that drives success
- Superior customer service and sales account management
- Superior work ethic and integrity
- College Education in sales, marketing and/or business development (or relevant experience)
- Ability to be coached and follow any sales training
- Proficient in using computer and web based applications
Some Preference
- Background in a B2B2C sales model
- Strong understanding of retail & sports industry
- Located centrally in the territory
- Understanding of the optical channel
- Proven sales background and success
- Ability to work independently to achieve necessary, on time, results
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, oral and written
- Comfortable presenting technical information to groups of people
