The Position: Sr. Programmer, Analyst
Absolute (Must Have) Requirements:
- Previous Manufacturing Experience
- MRP/ERP and accounting systems development/support/reporting experience
- SQL Server
- BS Computer Science or Information Technology related field or equivalent
- PICK programming or multi-value database management a plus
Job Summary:
The Senior Programmer/Analyst is responsible for supporting the Dataflo MRP/ERP and accounting systems and reporting. Other responsibilities include the oversight of maintenance and managing user requests. This position will provide support, leadership and vision to all business operations, while developing and implementing IT initiatives that ensure cost effectiveness and support the overall vision, mission and values of the enterprise.
Support and maintenance of the following technologies:
• Epicor's DataFlow MRP/ERP & accounting systems
• SQL Reporting from Dataflo
• EDI software supporting automated customer orders
Skills in these areas are a plus:
• Blackberrys & MS Exchange
• Desktop, laptop and network printers, website and e-commerce administration
• Microsoft Desktop Suite
• SAN with Dell file servers running Windows Server 2008
Essential Job Functions:
• Develops, maintains and guides IT systems
• Develops, designs, tests, maintains and documents solutions for Dataflo MRP/ERP system
• Provides technical and functional support for Dataflo MRP/ERP system
• Provides database administration functions for maintenance activities and backups
• Works closely with internal team members and vendors to research and troubleshoot errors and system performance issues
• Researches and assists with ongoing improvement to Dataflo system architecture
• Provides responsive advice, counsel, education and service to executive management
• Provides quality service to end users on needs analysis, solution recommendation, vendor selection, implementation, training, and support
• Identify and develop key data reports
• Develops and maintains an enterprise-wide reports database
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or an Information Technology related field.
• Minimum 5 - 10 years of progressive experience in managing functions dealing with information handling, work flow and systems.
• Minimum 5 years application support and customized programming experience.
• EDI experience
• Both in-house and shared or outsourced systems, multiple hardware platforms, and integrated information and communication systems and services.
• Current e-commerce experience preferred.
Proven Skills:
Software Development, Network ERP/MRP installation and support, high level knowledge of Database Systems, system integration and conversions, written and verbal communication, , planning and organizing, negotiating with vendors, contractors, and others, management and leadership, interpersonal relationship building.
