Posting Description & Requirements

After developing our Buoy locker(for SUPs, kayaks, surfboards) over the past year, we are ready to bring the self service rental locker to waterside locations nationwide.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who has sales experience and is eager for the challenge of bringing a new product to market. The role will include collaborating on a go-to-market plan, identifying locations, and securing leases or partnerships. The role could include travel across the country to identify and secure Buoy locker locations. Ideally this person has experience pitching to private businesses as well as navigating state and county governments.

This person should be familiar with the water sports market, and ideally have connections in it as well. They should also have great communication skills to be able to work remotely. This person will report to the founders. We’re happy to further discuss product details as needed.

Locker details:
- Inspired by vintage lifeguard stands.
- Equipped with an IoT lock for access with any smart phone.
- The locker is equipped with modular shelving to accommodate 8 paddle boards or 4 kayaks.
- Users can safely and securely leave all personal belongings in the locker while out on the water.

To make the deal sweeter, we will own and operate the lockers. The benefit is the property owners do not need to incur a large up front cost, making the lockers a no-brainer amenity to activate their property.

Started by two brothers, we are building a brand with a reverence for water. Our first product is a self service rental locker for high performance SUP's, kayaks, and surfboards. We are done lugging our large expensive equipment around and are creating a way to make the water more accessible through positioning our lockers at waterside locations and sharing gear rather than owning it.
