National Account Sales Manager (NASM)
This position will spearhead the company’s efforts to develop, build and maintain our business in the farm, ranch and similar retail entities. This role can be based in our New York, Dallas, Minneapolis offices or we are open to a work/travel from home situation.
The ideal candidate will possess experience and have working relationships in the farm and ranch market selling apparel and / or accessories.
This role requires a collaborative sales professional who can work with our design and merchandising teams in a productive manner to identify potential opportunities in this specialized market.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers, assistant buyers, and retailer support teams
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth
Identify new business opportunities and expand existing retail partnerships
Present trend-right product assortments aligned with customer and market needs
Secure purchase orders and manage all order details including pricing, shipping windows, vendor compliance, routing requirements, and vendor agreements
Coordinate customer onboarding, account setup, and internal order management documentation
Communicate packaging requirements, sample needs, licensing approvals, and production updates to internal teams and customers
Negotiate shipment changes, discounts, and cancellation requests as needed
Monitor order status and proactively resolve issues to support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
Conduct market research, retail store visits, and competitive analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities
Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and market appointments.
Qualifications:
Have existing contacts within the retail community
Understand the retail landscape and culture within the market
Possess a competitive nature focused on success
Be a quick learner of our licensed brands, entertainment properties, and consumer trends
Understand how to manage retail accounts and negotiate business terms
Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
