Bicycle Assembly Technician / Mechanic
Asheville, NC | Full-Time | Salaried ($45k–$55k)

Kitzuma Cycling Logistics, a subsidiary of BikeExchange, is a full-service logistics partner to the bicycle industry. We handle warehousing, fulfillment, and high-quality bike assembly for brands that care about getting it right. We’re looking for a skilled bike mechanic / assembly tech to join our Asheville-based team.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for frame-up bicycle builds, taking bikes from bare frames to finished, boxed product. Once builds are complete, you’ll also help prep bikes for shipping and support inventory management in our system.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building bicycles from the ground up (0–100%)

• Building to spec with a strong focus on safety, quality, and consistency

• Catching and correcting issues during assembly
  

• Preparing completed bikes for outbound shipping

• Helping keep inventory accurate and organized in our software

• Keeping your workspace clean, dialed, and efficient

• Working alongside a small, focused operations team
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Bike shop or retail service experience (or similar hands-on mechanical background)
  

• Strong understanding of modern bike components and standards
  

• Comfortable working independently and staying organized
  

• Pride in clean builds and doing things the right way
  

• Inventory or warehouse experience is a bonus, but not required
  
  

Pay & Benefits

• Salaried position: $45,000–$55,000 (depending on experience)
