Job Description & Requirements
We are looking for experienced and dependable Service Advisor and Production Technicians to join our two stores in Charleston County, SC. The ideal candidates for these positions will be very knowledgeable in the wide range of current and older componentry, including road and mountain bike drivetrains, wheels, suspension, and braking systems; has prior bike shop experience as service advisor or lead technician; and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate will be a professional, good communicator, a self-motivator and organized.
Responsibilities for Service Advisor:
- Identify customer needs and present options.
- Perform preventive maintenance and check-up procedures
- Diagnose repair and maintenance issues
- Explain how the diagnosis was reached
- Present repair estimates
- Schedule approved work orders
- Complete some production work
- Complete required training coursework online
Responsibilities for Technicians:
- Perform assigned work efficiently and accurately
- Communicate with Service Advisor and customers about scope changes
- Maintain accurate transactions
- Support sales floor with assembly, stocking, accessorizing
- Communicate work order completions
- Complete required training coursework online
