Job Description & Requirements

General Summary:  the resource reports directly to the Customer Service Supervisor and serves customers by providing product and service information; resolves product and service problems; responds questions and assists clients, guests, callers or visitors.

 

·         Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.

·         Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services.

·         Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.

·         Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.

·         Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

 

REPORTING:

·         Reports directly to the Customer Service Supervisor

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, priorities, and tasks

·         Retail experience in the bike, ski, or outdoor industry

·         Self-starter with the ability to take independent action or work as a team as needed

·         Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal

·         Negotiation skills with comprehensive knowledge of margin calculation and retail markups

·         Willing to travel as needed to help build strategic relationships and support events/tradeshows

·         Demonstrated business acumen to understand, interpret, and disseminate appropriate information for all sales channel functions

·         Proficiency in MS Office

·         Experience with eComm sales, CRM and Inventory Management systems is a plus
