We are currently seeking an On Camera Gear Specialist/Video Production Coordinator who will directly support our continued growth via convenient hybrid work-from-home scheduling.
Our Gear Specialists are experts on top-notch gear and apparel used for backpacking and trail running. As members of our video production team, they research products, develop scripts, and are the personalities driving our popular product demos. If you’ve seen our YouTube channel, then you’ve seen our Gear Specialists Cheyne, Steven and Troy in action. Are you the next member of this amazing team of outdoor professionals?
Successful candidates will be comfortable in front of a camera and project a fun, approachable personality that embodies Enwild’s friendly, professional brand voice. Solid copywriting skills are required to create compelling, on-brand scripts to bring product storytelling to life. Authentic enthusiasm for the outdoors with ample knowledge of backpacking and trail running gear is required, plus the ability to collaborate creatively with the video team to develop engaging and informative content.
We have some flexibility in the level and responsibilities of this position for the right candidate. The core components are the on-camera personality and script writing, but we’re also looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual who can successfully guide the day-to-day workflow of our video production team. Beyond that, we’d love to hear about the other skills you bring to the table so we can customize a role that makes the best use of your talents.
Other duties include:
- Overseeing and implementing production prep for weekly video shoots
- Organization and prioritization of department tasks
- Coordinating team schedules for efficiency
- Screening and approving final edits for continuity and accuracy
- Publishing completed video content to YouTube
- Providing occasional support for merchandising, purchasing and/or marketing activities
- Joining exciting projects that enhance our customer proposition and grow our business
