Job Description:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience.

Work Experiences:

2+ years relevant business-related work experience

Skills:

  • Ability to develop expert knowledge of systems functionality and business processes
  • Strong presentation skills to various size and levels of audiences
  • Ability to manage individual business unit workload and multiple training projects
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written (including punctuation, spelling, and grammar)
  • Detail oriented to prepare, plan, coordinate and manage training development and delivery
  • Analytical, with problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills
  • Computer Systems – Microsoft Office with strong skills in PowerPoint, Oracle RMS, SAS, MicroStrategy Business Intelligence/Abi and knowledge of Replenishment and Allocation systems.
  • Knowledge of Merchandise Planning including Assortment Planning, Buying and Replenishment and Allocation
  • Prioritization and organization
  • Ability to work flexible hours such as evening, weekends, and holidays as necessary
  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
  • Demonstrates a willingness to grow and improve in the workplace
  • Adapts well to change

Responsibilities:

  • Support partnerships with all business stakeholders, including training to ensure materials are current with system enhancements and business processes   
  • Facilitate training and manage the learning experience. Gauge learners' application and retention of course concepts and react appropriately.
  • Conduct teach back sessions and training workshops. Mentor new team members.
  • Receive feedback and respond appropriately, work with Sr Trainers to make necessary changes to ensure an optimal learning experience.
  • Maintain knowledge of MP&A systems, including Oracle RMS and SAS with subject matter expert knowledge of Foundation Data, Item Definition and Ranging, Retail Math and SAS Assortment Planning.
  • In conjunction with Sr Trainers, guide system enhancements and implementations relating to MP&A processes.
  • Delivering training content and concepts to new team members. Train new and updated content to existing team members.
  • Ensure consistent procedures are followed and used throughout the merchant and planning business processes
  • Assist in creating documentation for new processes and maintaining updates to existing documentation.
  • Observe industry trends in an effort to apply best-in-class practices to Academy
  • Required to learn company policies, procedures, and safety rules
