Our Social Media Manager is essential to the success of our Marketing efforts. Through planning and managing Nite Ize accounts on multiple social media platforms, connecting with customers, influencers and more, this person is critical to driving brand awareness and engagement.

The position for Social Media Manager will be open until filled.

Key Responsibilities for Social Media Manager

  • Builds and executes social media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
  • Creates and implements social media marketing plan and editorial calendar.
  • Writes, develops, and strategizes online content production and scheduling. Generates, edits, publishes, and shares content daily (original text, images, video). Partners with team members to create video content for social media promotion.
  • Builds meaningful connections with existing and potential customers and encourages community members to engage with the Nite Ize brand through dialog and messaging.
  • Creates and maintains company social media pages and profiles through on-going monitoring and updates. Moderates user-generated content and messages appropriately, based on company and community policies.
  • Tracks, analyzes, and presents analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilizes this information to positively affect future outcomes.
  • Partners with Nite Ize Marketing Manager to effectively promote organic and paid content across all social media platforms, including in Ads Manager.
  • Works with content creators such as influencers, photographers, and bloggers to develop branded content.
  • Collaborates with other departments to manage company reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach. Assists with crisis management including bad reviews and negative news communications, to support a positive brand presence.
  • Manages donation requests generated on, and leverages participation on social media.
  • Manages and contributes to the Nite Ize Blog.

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or related field.

3 or more years' experience in digital marketing and social media.

Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)

Knowledge and experience using Facebook Ads Manager.

Preferred knowledge and experience with CSS platforms for page and blog building.

Knowledge of project management and web design best practices.

Understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously and re-prioritize as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with social listening, scheduling, and reporting software.

Must be able to communicate fluently (read, write, and speak) in English.

Hiring Compensation for Social Media Manager: Hiring pay: $55,600 - $62,000 annual salary DOQ.
