Job Description & Requirements

INTERACTION WITH OTHER DEPARTMENTS:  Sales, Finance, Corporate Management, Thule Marketing management in other business units, Product Development, IT, HR

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 B2C Digital Activation

  • Responsible for coordination, project management, and campaign execution across different online channels
  • Maintain annual email marketing plan and calendar working closely with Sales and Operations to ensure business requirements are accounted for
  • Initiate and manage email creative development with in-house team
  • Consistently analyze email marketing metrics and consumer behavior to improve understanding of consumer journeys
  • Work closely with other departments to track and improve all consumer email touchpoints
  • Manage consumer review platform and workflow; interfacing with internal stakeholders and outside vendor
  • Manage and execute annual consumer review seeding program
  • Assist with site improvement projects as necessary

B2B Digital Activation

  • Support account-specific digital marketing initiatives
  • Work with account teams to develop unique brand, category and or product page content
  • Support ad hoc digital advertising opportunities with key accounts through copy and content creation
  • Assist in development and coordination of marketing activities for pro-related sales  platforms

Marketing planning and strategy

  • Support team in the development of digital marketing and strategy for all brands in the Thule Group, Americas
  • Coordinate and maintain digital marketing calendar, tracking all digital activities for all brands in the Americas
  • Assist with sales and customer meetings by integrating digital marketing plans into overall meeting themes
  • Contribute to the creation of fully integrated brand plans for all brands in the Thule Group portfolio

Brand Management

  • Ensure consistency for the brands in all digital creative used within the organization and online marketplaces

Events

  • Assist with all digital needs for regional trade and consumer shows Support marketing team as needed with the execution of large trade and consumer events

 RECOMMENDED POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  1.  College degree required
  2. 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, highly preferred in an online B2C environment
  3. Experience in project management, tracking, and reporting
  4. Must have an extremely high capacity for detail, be an efficient proofreader, and have excellent oral and written communication skills
  5. Experience creating engaging marketing copy preferred
  6. Must have a good balance of creatively driven thinking and analysis based decision making
  7. Working knowledge of email marketing best practices and platforms (Salesforce, Campaign Monitor, Klayvio, etc)
  8. Basic computer knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  9. Must be flexible and a team player willing to contribute to overall marketing and business objectives
  10. Up to 20% travel required
