The Position
The Digital Marketing and Sales Specialist will report directly to the Owners and Director of Operations and be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the sales and marketing strategy of Bedrock Sandals. As the Digital Marketing and Sales Specialist you will be a dynamic part of Bedrock’s success, ensuring sustainable growth in direct to consumer and wholesale channels by creating and executing measurable sales and marketing programs that are aligned with other company initiatives including, operations, product development, and customer service.
We are looking for an outdoor industry professional who is driven, creative, organized, and has a successful track record in the digital era of sales and marketing. Our ideal candidate has experience working with a small team, is comfortable wearing multiple hats, and is excited about bringing their unique experience to Bedrock Sandals and being an integral part of its mission and success.
Location
This position will be located at our HQ in Missoula, Montana.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Online Sales and Marketing
Manage Bedrock’s online sales channel - maintain and improve its operation through optimizing end-user web functionality within Shopify and other applications
Research and develop strategic growth plans for online sales channel - work across teams to implement and track performance over time
Execute leadership’s yearly online sales and brand goals via development of robust email marketing, SEO, social media and ad campaigns
Collaborate effectively with leadership and graphic designer to share brand content and promote cohesive and engaging communications across online platforms
Assist in developing social media marketing strategy and manage output and communications, working directly with customer service to respond to customer inquiries
Engage in professional development via online education and seminars to continually adapt and grow the position
Wholesale Sales (US and International)
Collaborate with leadership on wholesale channel goals and strategy
Grow wholesale relationships with existing accounts by collecting feedback, incentivising sales, and visiting dealers on sales tours, trade shows, events, or via online conferencing
Engage in new wholesale opportunities both domestically and internationally that line up with leaderships sales goals and dealer criteria
Manage wholesale purchase orders, inventory, and fulfillment throughout the year via spreadsheets, B2B portal, and Bedrock’s ERP system
Create yearly wholesale program guidelines and materials
Collect preseason orders and work with product team to accurately forecast and plan for the upcoming years production
Develop new programs and marketing materials to strategically grow and service wholesale channels
Qualifications, Competencies, and Key Attributes
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent on-job education required
2+ years of marketing and/or sales related experience required. Outdoor industry and/or footwear experience is a plus.
Knowledge and experience working within cloud based platforms such as Shopify, G-Suite, Shiphero, Cin7 etc.
Experience managing or collaborating on effective D2C and B2B email marketing and ad campaigns that build brand awareness with understanding of brand tone and position
Sales experience with D2C or B2B accounts over email, phone, and in-person settings. Outdoor and/or footwear industry specific experience is a plus
Working understanding of social media communications and platforms
Excellent and open communicator. Ability to develop strong relationships with our partners
Self starter with acute attention to detail and great time management
Humble, not afraid to fail, and always aiming to improve
Interest in sustainable business and brand growth
Sandal-clad and human-powered adventure enthusiast is a plus
Hourly work schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00 - 4:30
40 hours a week
Starting Salary
$55,000 + Full Time Benefits
