Role Overview: 

Without our warehouse team, people don’t get their gear. And without their gear, they don’t ski. The primary role of a first-year season warehouse associate (WH1) is to efficiently and accurately fulfill orders. This involves competence in picking, packing, and shipping products. Emphasis is placed on the speed and accuracy of processing the order queue. Additional primary responsibilities within the scope of this position include the detailed processing of inbound shipments from suppliers and customers. Additionally, the WH1 will be asked to restock and count inventory at the direction of senior staff and management. A WH1 employee will go through three phases of training with increasing responsibility as proficiency in each phase is demonstrated. This role will require an employee to have a work schedule with at least one weekend day and availability during major sales periods such as Black Friday/Cyber Monday, days surrounding Christmas and New Year's. 

Role Responsibilities:


  • Efficiently and accurately process daily customer orders and meet fulfillment deadlines

  • Process, document, and stock inbound shipments 

  • General warehouse upkeep to maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory 

  • Motivation to work solo and as part of a team

  • Abide by established safety protocols

Competencies

  • Computer literacy/ technological skills

  • Ability to stand for the duration of shift

  • Quickly and safely lift 10-20lbs repeatedly, lifting up to 50lbs 

  • High level of organizational, detail orientation, and learning aptitude

  • Comfortable with climbing ladders up to 13’

  • Planning and time management

  • Adaptability and flexibility

  • Abide by established safety protocols

When you'll do it:

Starting in August/September and working until March 31, 2024. 

Peak season schedule (September - March) consists of 4 x 10 hr shifts with 2 consecutive days off. If hired, you will be scheduled on at least one weekend day, which in ski shop speak means two weekdays off (read: no lines, no crowds, no I-70 traffic). You must be available to work through the holiday season. Retail, baby.
