Job Description & Requirements
California Sales Rep
Manage retail stores in California including sales, inventory and marketing.
In addition to managing and motivating staff, requires passion for face to face store sales, ensuring timely contact cycles with retailers.
Rapidly growing company, excellent working environment.
Strong interpersonal, sales and marketing skills. Must be good listener, enthusiastic and energetic personality
Ability to work independently without immediate supervision
Verifiable sales ability, preferably experience calling on retail stores
Additional specifications:
- Solicits and writes restock orders, and/or assists in the customer’s order cycle
- Consults on order points, min/max, stock levels with store management and representatives
- Plans, prepares and conducts sales presentations regarding new products, line expansions, and opportunities for additional product placement
- Provides guidance and advice on use of programs such as coop advertising, store displays and product promotions
- Ensure that service and quality issues raised by customers are resolved
- Assist is soliciting new product ideas and monitoring competitive activity
- Assist in managing trade shows, regional sales meetings, and other meetings as requested by management
- Assist in developing sales forecasts
- Develop complete product knowledge by using our recreational product
