Job Description
The Position: Retail Management
We are an outdoor specialty retailer with multiple store locations in CT seeking all levels of management talent for our soon to be new locations in Cheshire, CT and Wakefield, RI. We pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service through knowledgable staff and offering high quality product mix. As a Store Manager / Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for implementing individual store strategies to help achieve company's objectives, including sales/budget goals, customer service goals and store appearance. Other responsiblities include, recruiting, hiring, training and development of staff. As part of our entrepreneurial approach, we encourage our team to promote our store in community programs and to drive excellent tenant and community relationships.
Qualifications - Minimum 3-5 years of retail management experience
- Effective leader, strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong emhases/experience in all store operations functions and/or customer service industry
- Excellent outdoor product knowldege
- Ability to identify, train, coach, develop talent
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Availability to work flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, nights, weekends and holidays
- 4 year college degree or equivalent preferred
