The Position: General Manager
All3sports.com is currently hiring for the position of General Manager.
All3sports.com is Atlanta's premier triathlon retail store and one of the nation's leading ecommerce providers of triathlon apparel & equipment. Founded in 2002, all3sports.com strives to provide the consumer with the top triathlon brands coupled with a knowledgeable and friendly customer service oriented staff.
The General Manager is a position at the upper management level reporting to the President with full accountability for the direction and outcomes of the daily operational business at all3sports.com. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience managing a retail sales environment. Candidate must also be experienced with e-commerce sales. Knowledge of the triathlon, swimming, biking, and/or running business is a plus.
Qualified candidate should be a pragmatic, quick thinking and an intrinsically motivated individual with a solid bias for customer service. They must also posses a strong team orientation with a collaborative style and the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with strong influencing skills.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Reaching and surpassing company-wide sales goals.
- Fostering the mission of all3sports.com and instilling that message in the day-to-day actions of all staff members.
- Motivating staff to achieve and surpass goals through training, support and incentives.
- Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships between all3sports.com and its vendors.
- Seasonal retail floor sets and overall appearance of retail floor.
- Hiring, training and managing all staff across departments.
- Responsible for consistency between the retail and ecommerce stores.
- Responsible for maintaining healthy margin levels and managing monthly cash flow.
- Develop and provide consistent and periodic sales reports to assist in the buying and inventory management process.
- Work with the President to set open to buy dollars.
- Manage purchasing and inventory within those parameters set.
- Manage all shipping and receiving with the warehouse staff.
- Manage allocation and processing of web orders with customer service and warehouse staff.
