Overview of the Position:
The Inventory Analyst will support the Direct (retail stores and online) channel decisions regarding inventory planning. The primary focus of the position is Retail Stores replenishment and reporting as well as eCommerce seasonal bulk maintenance. Position will also have a significant role in the development and implementation of the Direct assortment, inventory planning and replenishment. The position will support the buildup of the seasonal inventory buy with reporting and analysis. In summary, the Inventory Analyst will be the key contact for all day to day operations, including communication and administrative duties.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Retail Stores Support
o Key contact for all Retail Store support and communication for all matters related to inventory planning and flow
o Provide clear and concise data and analysis on company’s performance at retail
o Responsible for communication internally with Allocator, Shipping & QC Managers regarding store orders and processing details
o Data Entry and EDI upload of orders using our Retail Management System (KWI) and our internal ERP (Full Circle)
o Support the Senior analyst in executing monthly bulk revisions and stores distribution
o Prepare and communicate sales & inventory reports to retail store managers
o Process retail store replenishment orders 3 times each week
o Develop excel based tools to review historical sales data to provide for accurate forecast / buy quantities
o Review style sales and inventory to determine under-stock and over-stock situations
E-Commerce Support
o Refresh models to monitor velocity, weeks of stock, sell thru, sku availability
o Update and communicate Available to Sell reports for web and outlet sort order
o Data Entry / Upload / Maintenance of Direct preseason and liquidation bulk orders.
