The Position: XC Ski Sales/Technician
Gear West XC Ski Run & Soccer is looking for a passionate full or part/time xc ski person who has had xc ski race experience and understands the technical aspects of performance xc skis ...such as pressure distribution of a ski and its effects on given snow conditions. This person most have a burning desire to sell, write about, select and continue to grow the brand of xc skis at Gear West. Also includes the marketing of Gear West's waxing, grind services and xc skis, boots and poles to the High School and Masters xc markets.
Knowledge of running is a plus.
Please only apply if you are self motivated, absolutely love xc skiing, enjoy working with people and have had significant xc ski race and/or ski sales experience. You will be working with one of the top xc ski stores in the nation with busy in-store traffic and a large mail order and web business. There will be amply room for a motivated person to expand his or her sales and marketing skills to the fullest as we at Gear West are passionate about xc skiing and are always open to new and creative ways of building the GW sports brand.
