Eastside Ski and Sport is seeking a full time Shop Manager and Lead Bike Mechanic for our Redmond location. The person we seek has many years of bicycle maintenance and shop experience, has experience leading, training, or managing others and is good with people. This person will have experience with a diverse range of customers and bicycles, be self motivated, possess a positive attitude, and have excellent attention to detail. Winter service experience is highly desirable but is not required.
Primary Responsibilities include:
·Providing a positive customer experience
·Insuring quality of service products
·Managing maintenance staff
·Assisting to grow the maintenance business
·Insuring shop profitability and growth
·Overseeing and providing service writing
·Managing the scheduling of service appointments
·Establish shop standards and procedures
·Insuring shop policies and procedures are followed
·Performing tech work on bike and skis
·Mentoring junior staff into stronger mechanics
·Responsible for shop inventory and product ordering
·Shop appearance and experience
·Creating work and sales orders
·Managing and communicating with customers regarding pay and warranty work
Compensation will depend on experience but we strive to pay at the top end of the industry to attract and retain quality employees.
